'Tis the Season!!!!!!!!

It is here, the joyous time of the year when we celebrate the birth of our Savior and Redeemer, even Jesus Christ.  We are so excited to welcome the Christmas Season as it brings so much warmth and kindness throughout the world.  Christ truly is the Light, and we are so fortunate to be able to be involved in His work here in Sweden.  The temple grounds remind us of what Christmas is all about........

As His Representatives, we embark on the great cause of helping others come to know Him.  We do that through serving others and bearing witness that He Lives!!!!

To help ring in the Christmas Season, we started the celebration off with taking the Office Staff to Cedergrenska Tornet to enjoy a wonderful Swedish Julbord.

This is the famous Cedergrenska Tornet in Danderyd.  At night, it is all lit up in red and shines throughout the countryside.

The Office Elders.

And here it is.......the best Julbord in Stockholm.   Cold Fish, Warm Fish, Cold Meat, Warm Meat, Soups, All kinds of Sill, Breads, Butter, Cheese, Potato Dishes, Salads, Plenty of JulMust, and Desert afterwards.   All you can eat......
We are ready to begin the FEAST........
The Elders never seem to slow down.

Hey, what is everybody huddling over?????

Okay, I see......the Desert Table!!!!!!
The Elders say, "There is always room for desert."

Sister Beckstrand always has President's heart.  Stole it long ago.......

From the top of the Tornet, you have a wonderful view of Stockholm.  Here the sun is setting at around 3 PM in the afternoon.

President and Sister Beckstrand enjoy a quiet, but brief moment to themselves.......

And then it break out, yes, a snowballs fight with the Elders on the top of the Tornet.

This is a great group of missionaries, our Office Staff, Elder Hawkins, Elder Chugg, Elder Johanson, Elder Jensen, Elder Halterman, and Elder Nielsen.

Sweden's beauty is hard to match.  We are so blessed to have been called to labor in this part of the Lord's vineyard.  We will be forever grateful to our Heavenly Father!
