Newbies and Sister Conference

 Well, we received another great couple to work with us here in Sweden.  On October 28, 2014, we picked up Elder and Sister Hawley, who will be serving in Uppsala.  Pictured below from left to right are President and Sister Beckstrand, Elder and Sister Taylor, Elder and Sister Hawley, and Sister and Elder Tolley.


Another joyous day as we pick up two wonderful couples who will be serving in the Records Preservation area in Stockholm.  November 18, 2014, at Arlanda Airport are, from  left to right:  Elder and Sister Taylor, President and Sister Beckstrand, Elder Allen, Elder and Sister Robinson, Elder and Sister Bird, Elder and Sister Tolley, Elder Stinnett, Elder Mangum and Elder Haddon.

On November 13, 2014, Sister Beckstrand held her first Sister Conference with the Sister missionaries in the Sweden Stockholm Mission.  The conference was held in Gubbängen and we had all 38 Sister missionaries attend.  A wonderful day was had by all.  It was fun, spiritual, and much needed to recharge the batteries of these wonderful Sister missionaries.  Special thanks to Sister Taylor, Sister Coombs, Sister Taylor, and Sister Beckstrand for a wonderful conference.

 Well, today, November 19, 2014, we picked up a brand new Elder at the airport.  Elder Svensson is joining us and he is from Örebro, Sweden and will be serving with Elder Williams.

 Elder Williams and his new missionary, Elder Svensson will be serving in Vendelsö.

It's Cold Outside!

I guess it is finally here.  November 6, 20144, and we are waking up to snow in Stockholm.  Prepare for a long cold winter.
