Emotions ran high yesterday as goodbyes were said and hugs were given. It was the hardest thing I think I have done so far in my life. To watch President and Sister Beckstrand walk through security and wave goodbye to us. It was pretty crazy getting them on the plane. Amber helped Dad tag all the bags and used her number in case of a problem. The airline didn't have tickets for them from Paris to Stockholm so they had to look that all up and they finally found them. Then as we got to the cars, Amber got a phone call from the airline and said one of the bags was not tagged at check-in to tell where the bag was headed. Amber told the man that it is going to Paris then to Stockholm. He said that is good because this is the only flight leaving for Paris this day. He then said to her that his Dad is from Meadow! Small world. Then I got a text from Dad saying they had to land in Minneapolis for a medical emergency. A passenger behind them was having a heart attack. Once the med team removed the man, they were able to proceed with their journey. Now just waiting to hear if they made it on to Sweden soil. They are 8 hours ahead of us as well.
We ALL LOVE you and know that there is great work to be done and that you can do this!!
