Specialized Zone Training!

Specialized Zone Trainings for the Sweden Stockholm Mission!!!!

Time again for us to teach our missionaries principles that will help them become the very best missionaries they can be.  We love these opportunities to travel to every Zone in the mission and teach and be in the presence of these great "Warriors" who serve so faithfully.  We began our Specialized Zone Training with a visit to the Norrland Zone in Umeå.  President Beckstrand taught our missionaries the principle of getting "Back to the Basics" with respect to our teaching investigators.  The basics take us right back to our Missionary Purpose, which is the Doctrine of Christ.

 Sister Beckstrand taught our missionaries the importance of "Keeping Your Focus."  She used the example of Joseph Smith during two very rough years of the early church and how he kept his focus on the things the Lord commanded him to do.  We as missionaries must always "keep our focus" and never forget whose work this is.

 Our Savior will never lead us astray and will always be there by our side to build us and protect us.

Our wonderful Assistants, Elder Bradshaw and Elder Hemmingsen, taught our missionaries about the basics of Daily and Weekly Planning, and the importance of planning every day for our investigators.  They also taught on the importance of utilizing the Baptismal Calendar for each investigator who has accepted a baptismal date.  As always, they did a fabulous job of teaching and being lead by the spirit.

Friday, May 6, 2016, we met with the Stockholm Zone at the YSA Center in Stockholm for Specialized Zone Training.  As we entered the YSA Center, Sister Beckstrand was surprised by the missionaries, who wished her a very Happy Mother's Day.  Let the fun begin........

 Tuesday, May 10, 2016, we traveled to the temple in Västerhaninge to meet with the Stockholm South Zone.  The temple grounds are bursting with Spring colors.
