Christmas Zone Conference

So, we started our Christmas Zone Conference in Gubbängen with the Norrland and Stockholm Zones, Tuesday, December 15, 2015.  Our theme for the Conference was the Gifts of the Savior and "What gift will you give Him?"

Sister Beckstrand taught on the gift of Humility, Elder Archibald taught on the gift of Faith, Elder Sahlin taught on the gift of Obedience, and President Beckstrand taught on the gift of Charity and Love.  Each session was great and our missionaries allowed the Spirit to teach them those things that will make them better missionaries.  All of our missionaries were asked this question, "What gift will you give the Savior this year?"

Lunch time......Roast Beef and all the fixings........Merry Christmas!   Pick out your Missionary.

A special visitor showed up for a Christmas story.  Santa Claus and Sister Beckstrand shared a favorite Christmas story for the missionaries.

After lunch, we played the "Present Game" with our missionaries and they all had a great time playing and especially when it came time to open their gifts.

 

On Wednesday, December 16, 2015, we were at the Västerhaninge Chapel for our second of three Christmas Zone Conferences.  Here, the Stockholm South Zone takes their picture in Västerhaninge.

We also welcomed our newest Senior Couple to the mission today.  Elder and Sister Hurlbutt join us from Mesa, Arizona.  They arrived in Stockholm yesterday, December 15, 2015, and will be serving in the Lund YSA.  Welcome Elder and Sister Hurlbutt to the Sweden Stockholm Mission.

Alright, lunch time for these hungry missionaries........feast away.......

We recognize Sister Beckstrand on this day, December 16, 2015, as she celebrates her Birthday with all the missionaries.  We love her and so appreciate all that she does for the entire mission.  We couldn't ask for a better mission Mom.  We love you Sister Beckstrand.

Thursday, December 17, 2015, we received a "Short Term Missionary" Sister here in the mission.  Sister Miriam Blanchette from the Stockholm South Stake will be serving a 3 month mission with us.  We are excited to have Sister Blanchette serving and look forward to many great things from her in the Sweden Stockholm Mission.

Sister Blanchette will be serving with Sister Savage in Malmö.
