Tuesday, June 2, 2015, the missionaries from the Norrland and Stockholm
Zones gathered at the chapel in Gubbängen for Zone Conference. Great
instruction was given to our missionaries as the Assistants and
President and Sister Beckstrand taught the missionaries how they can
become better in performing the Lord's work and magnifying their
callings. Here is our Norrland Zone members.

And, here is lunch time, so go ahead and pick out your favorite missionary.
Wednesday, June 3, 2015, we were on our way to Västerhaninge for our
next Zone Conference with the Stockholm South and Södertälje Zones. It
was a beautiful day and the temple ground flowers were stunning.

And, once again, a delicious lunch was served to our missionaries. Pick out your missionary, as they all look great.
As we finished up our Zone Conference here in Västerhaninge, we found
these folks from Utah. Turns out, these two, the Swensons, will soon be
the in-laws of one of our dear Sister missionaries, Sister Ashley
Anderson, who is engaged to their son. Congratulations to you Sister
Anderson.
Well, on Thursday, June 4, 2015, we traveled to Göteborg in order to be
ready in the morning for our last Zone Conference. As we arrived in
Göteborg, Elder Sahlin wanted to show President and Sister Beckstrand
the cemetary where two mormon missionaries are buried. Turns out, that
President Beckstrand has ties to this first missionary, John A. Qvist.
President Qvist, who was an area president for the church, had taken
sick in March 1890. He continued to worsen and he asked one of the
missionaries with him to bless him and seal him up to the Lord. The
missionary, on the 12th of March, 1890, followed the wishes of President
Qvist, and dedicated him to the Lord and that His will should be done.
President Qvist then rested and returned to his Father in Heaven.
Elder Sahlin has always wondered who the missionary was that blessed
President Qvist. Turns out that the missionary was named Elder John A.
Beckstrand, great grandfather of President James E. Beckstrand, current
Sweden Stockholm Mission president.

place flowers at this grave every year, remembering the missionary
service of John A. Qvist and John H. Jensen, mormon missionaries who
died in Sweden and are buried in Göteborg, Sweden.

Friday, June 5, 2015, we hold our final Zone Conference with the
missionaries from the Göteborg and Malmö Zones. The conference was held
at the Utby Chapel in Utby. Here are the missionaries from the
Göteborg Zone.
